Paul Taylor Dance Company Offers $5 Tickets to 3/6 Performance

The Paul Taylor Dance Company (PTDC) is celebrating the 25th anniversaries of two of Paul Taylor's masterpieces -- Speaking in Tongues and Brandenburgs, both from 1988 - by offering $5.00 tickets for all seats for the Wednesday, March 6, performance at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center during its 2013 New York Season, March 5 - 24.

"We're excited to try this new model for distributing tickets to the unique performance," said Paul Taylor Dance Company Executive Director John Tomlinson. "New and existing Taylor fans will be able to buy tickets for $5.00 for any seat in the theater."

Each venue will have 500 tickets with an equal distribution of seats throughout the theater; patrons may not choose seat locations. There is a limit of two tickets per person; cash only will be accepted. Also on sale will be Paul Taylor's new book of essays entitled FACTS AND

FANCIES: Essays Written Mostly for Fun that will be released in March during the NY Season. Any remaining tickets will be available on January 30 through the David H. Koch Theater box office at 63rd Street and Columbus Avenue; by calling 212.496.0600; or visiting www.ptdc.org/tickets. For additional information, please visit www.ptdc.org/five.

Following the March 5 opening night Gala performance at 6:30pm, the Company's performances are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 3pm and 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm. Ticket prices for all performances except March 6 are $10, $30, $55, $80, $110 and $160. Premium $160 seats include an invitation to the Patrons Lounge.

MetLife Foundation is the Official Tour Sponsor of the Paul Taylor Dance Company. Major funding for the 2013 Season is provided by The SHS Foundation and the Board of Trustees and Friends of the Paul Taylor Dance Foundation. Support is also provided by the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York State Council on the Arts, a State Agency, and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
