As a part of the activities related to Mes de Danza in Seville there will be on 20th November a presentation of Costa Contemporanea. Costa Contemporánea is a Contemporary Dance and Performing Arts Festival held in Natural Park Cabo de Gata, Almeria, Spain. It is an opportunity to visit top quality workshops about contemporary dance, performing arts and videodance, to attend to national and international well-known performances and enjoy great cultural holidays surrounded by nature and coast. The presentation will be followed by the screening of a selection of videodances created by Yara Paz, Tristana Castilla, RuBen Hernandez and Gwladys Le Calvez during the videodance workshop held at the festival this year. The videodance workshop was led by Ana Cembrero (filmmaker and choreographer) and Jorge Piquer (director of photography and filmmaker), directors of La Ignorancia dance film music. They are authors of many successful videofilms, shortfilms and installations. A good example of this is the international award-winning videodance Cinetica filmed in Natural Park Cabo de Gata-Nijar. They both live and work in Brussels. At Costa Contemporanea 2012 La Ignorancia has led an audiovisual workshop where the participants have discovered and explored their personal creativity and the relationship between dance and film in order to carry out a dance video with the natural settings of the Natural Park and the Mediterranean Coast.
