Vox Dance Theatre, in association with the National Dance Education Organization's October 2012 Conference, and the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, will host four evening showcases where established Los Angeles area dance artists (choreographers and/or dance companies) can showcase their work to conference attendees, as well as area presentors, grantors and the public.
Showcases will take place in one of three Los Angeles area theaters:
Saturday October 20 - Madrid Theatre/Canoga ParkSunday October 21 - Madrid Theatre/Canoga ParkFriday October 26 - LATC Tom Bradley Theater/Los Angeles (no hard shoe forms at this venue)Saturday October 27 - Warner Grand Theatre/San Pedro
The series will be curated by Sarah Swenson, Artistic Director of Vox Dance Theatre, and a panel of established Los Angeles artists and presenters.
