Segerstrom Center Announces Programming for Trey McIntyre Project, 11/23-25

The celebrated American contemporary dance company – Trey McIntyre Project – returns to Southern California during the Thanksgiving holiday in an exclusive engagement at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Orange County. The centerpiece will be the world premiere of a Center commission, McIntyre's innovative multi-media work titled Ways of Seeing, which will begin in Segerstrom Hall and transition both artists and audience to the Center's Arts Plaza.

The program also includes the West Coast premiere of his The Unkindness of Ravens, a co-commission by Segerstrom Center for the Arts which has its world premiere on November 14 at Brooklyn Academy Of Music and includes three members of the Seoul-based Korea National Contemporary Dance Company. The two other dance works are McIntyre's Bad Winter and Ladies and Gentle Men.

During TMP's week-long residency, the company will engage with the Orange County community through educational outreach projects, master classes and more. Preview Talks will be conducted by TMP Co- Founder and Executive Director John Michael Schert one hour prior to each performance. The Friday, November 23 Preview Talk will be sign-language interpreted.
