Two Tap Trio and O'Shea Irish Dance Set for St. Paul's SteppingStone Theatre, 3/8-17

From the team that brought us Get Up Your Irish comes a thrilling showcase of Irish music and dance, Kickin' It Irish. It's a show that's sure to get your feet tapping and your blood pumping.

Featuring the champion dancers of O'Shea Irish Dance, this non-stop foot-stomping concert performance highlights the talents of choreographer and dancer Cormac Ó Se, an original cast member of Riverdance, and musical & band director Brian O'Sullivan from Glasgow, Scotland. Brian Miller (who also plays with the traditional band Bua in Chicago), and Nathan Gourley of the Two Tap Trio will be on hand to create the soul-stirring rhythms of traditional Irish music.

Producer and O'Shea Irish Dance Director Natalie O'Shea says, "We have enjoyed every minute of this as a creative team together, myself, Cormac and Brian O'Sullivan. We are very excited to show off these amazingly talented kids. And it is a treat to return to the stage of SteppingStone after the success of Get Up Your Irish."

A rich rendition of traditional Irish culture and history, this limited-engagement performance is sure to delight families of all ages and backgrounds.

Performers Biographies

- Cormac Ó Sé, Dancer, Choreographer, Musician An original cast member of Riverdance, Cormac toured the world dancing for 7 years, and came to settle here in 200'. Founder of the Celtic Junction and T.C.R.G. of O'Shea Irish Dance, Cormac plays music and trains his dancers for international dance competitions at the Regional, National and World Championship levels.

- brian james O'Sullivan, Musical Director Brian comes to us from Glasgow, Scotland. He works as a writer and composer throughout the UK and his work as a musician for Irish dancing championships takes him around the world. Recent work includes writing and directing an original musical about responsible drinking, ŒSwally, The Musical', and writing book, music and lyrics for a highly successful adaptation of, ŒThe Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe'. Brian is delighted to be part of the team for "Kickin' It Irish".
