Aurora Theatre Company Presents the World Premiere of FATHER/DAUGHTER By Kait Kerrigan


Aurora Theatre Company continues its 30th season with the World Premiere of Kait Kerrigan's FATHER/DAUGHTER, a recipient of the 2021 Edgerton Foundation New Play Award. Bay Area theatre artist M. Graham Smith directs William Thomas Hodgson and Sam Jackson (The Bluest Eye, Exit Strategy, Splendour) in this beautifully innovative play about love, family, and relationships.

Programming for American Ballet Theatre's 2018 Fall season, October 17-28 at the David H. Koch Theater, was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie. The season will feature World Premieres by Michelle Dorrance and Jessica Lang, as well as centennial tribute performances of Jerome Robbins's and Leonard Bernstein's Fancy Free. UC Berkeley's TDPS to Present A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, 10/18-27


TDPS opens its 2013-2014 season with one of Shakespeare's most magical and endearing comedies in honor of the Bard's upcoming 450th birthday. Christine Nicholson will direct the story of the four young lovers crossing paths in an enchanted forest, setting the production during the 1960s. 'I thought the tension of the time fit the tension of the play,' says Nicholson. 'We see how far people will go in the pursuit of love; we see the lengths that authority will go to keep the status quo. We see the effects of desire and the pursuit of power.'

The World Premiere of The Tempest by Alexei Ratmansky will highlight American Ballet Theatre's inaugural Fall season at the David H. Koch Theater, October 30-November 10, 2013. The Fall 2013 season, announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie, will also feature revivals of Bach Partita by Twyla Tharp, Les Sylphides by Michel Fokine, Gong by Mark Morris and Clear by Stanton Welch.

UC Berkeley Presents Georges Feydeau's SAUCE FOR THE GOOSE


UC Berkeley's Department of Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies (TDPS) continues its 2008-09 Main Stage season with Georges Feydeau's Sauce for the Goose (Le Dindon), directed by Christopher Herold. The period production features scenic design by Giulio Perrone, costume design by Wendy Sparks, lighting design by David K.H. Elliott, and a cast of student actors from UC Berkeley. Sauce for the Goose will be performed in English (translation by Kenneth McLeish), with weekend performances from Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 15 at the Zellerbach Playhouse on the UC Berkeley campus.
